Bike Arc
Bike Arc LLC, located in downtown Palo Alto, California, is a Silicon Valley startup that designs sustainable, beautiful, organized, durable and secure bike racks and bike parking systems. Joseph Bellomo and Jeff Selzer founded Bike Arc in 2008. Jeff Selzer sits on the Board of Directors of the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition〔http://bikesiliconvalley.org/board/〕 and is the General Manager of Palo Alto Bicycles. Joseph Bellomo, a California-licensed architect, is the founder and owner of Joseph Bellomo Architects, Inc. in Palo Alto, which he founded in 1986. In addition to collaborating on Bike Arc, Mr. Bellomo and Mr. Selzer also worked together on the Palo Alto Bikestation at the Caltrain depot.

In 2009, the American Institute of Architects, California Council, gave Bike Arc the Honor Award for Small Projects.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.aiacc.org/2011/08/02/bike-arc/ )
== Bike Arc Philosophy ==

Mr. Bellomo and Mr. Selzer—both being long-time cyclists and bike worshippers—set out to design bike-parking systems that honor, protect, and respect bicycles, and believe that we shouldn’t have to touch and potentially damage someone else’s bike just to park and secure our own. They wanted to create a solution to remedy the fact that, far too often, cities, schools and businesses install bike racks that force riders to cram their bikes against each other, causing unnecessary damage to and avoidable wear-and-tear of bicycles. Mr. Bellomo and Mr. Selzer also recognize that—as an ever-growing number of people across the globe depend on two wheels to get around—it is increasingly important that we have access to secure and organized bike parking.
